Former Dunedin runner Anna Frost has never shied away from a challenge.
The endurance runner ticked off another milestone recently when she completed the Nolan's 14 challenge in Colorado.
It takes about 60 hours, includes 100 miles (160km) of walking, running and climbing through the Sawatch Range, and traverses 14 summits over 14,000 feet (4267m), from the formidably named Mt Massive to Mt Shavano.
The other key number is 15 - the percentage of people who attempt the challenge who actually get to the finish.
Since the unofficial event started in 1999, only 11 people have completed the route, which for the most part has no trails or markers.
Frost joined the club alongside American friend Missy Gosney, who had made a previous attempt at the challenge.
A support crew drove to various points with food, and the pair even managed to get a little bit of sleep.
