
Henderson recently stepped down as president of the Dunedin Umpires and Scorers Association after 15 years in the role.
Henderson is expected to continue umpiring club games but is taking a break from administration.
Former long-serving Otago Boys' High School director of cricket Ken Rust's contribution was also acknowledged during general business.
He retired earlier this month after more than 20 years in the role.
Rust will remained involved in the game, though. He was elected to the management committee as an independent and will help drive the game forward.
President Tony Buchanan and vice-president George Morris were re-elected.
The DCA is in the second year of a pilot governance structure in which the Otago Cricket Association has taken the lead in a partnership with the DCA to drive cricket forward in the city.
It endorsed Otago Cricket Association's plan for cricket in Dunedin and hopes to see the benefits as the sport battles to remain relevant at youth level.
The association reported a surplus of $6000 for the financial period ending May 31.
