Scott was named club player of the year and it would not have come as a surprise to anyone.
He had a terrific summer with both the ball and the bat. He took 51 wickets at an average of 10.2 and scored one century and four half-centuries to average 37.21 with the bat.
He was a key plank in Kaikorai's successful campaign and will look to extend his recent good form at the national club championships next month.
Green Island's Dion Lobb won the bowler of the year trophy and team-mate Gregor Croudis picked up the batsman of the year award.
Lobb took a staggering 55 wickets, seven more than the previous season, while Croudis topped 600 runs.
The Gordon McGregor trophy award for services to cricket was presented to Carisbrook-Dunedin's Iain Nellies.
Nellies has been a member of the club since the mid-1980s and was influential in the amalgamation of Dunedin and Carisbrook clubs in 1988.
He has been heavily involved in coaching junior teams during that period and has held senior roles on the committee, including president for the past eight years.
He has been an outstanding servant of the DCA and, for the past decade, has headed up the judicial panel.
The contribution to cricket award went to Shaun Doherty. He has been a driving force behind the North East Valley junior club.
Kannan Jagannathan was named umpire of the year.
