The domestic twenty20 season draw is out and Otago has a nice little jaunt to Central Otago during the Christmas break.
The Volts will host Canterbury and Auckland at Molyneux Park on December 26 and December 28 respectively.
They open their campaign the best part of two weeks earlier against Canterbury at Hagley Oval in Christchurch on December 14.
The first home game is three days later against Wellington at the University Oval in Dunedin.
Invercargill is also on the schedule. Otago will host Central Districts at Queens Park on January 9.
Its final round-robin game is against Auckland at Eden Park Outer Oval on January 14.
The final is set down for January 20. Following the round robin, the second and third placed sides will playoff off for the right to play the top-ranked team in the final.
A total of 32 matches will played at 11 different venues from Invercargill to Auckland.
Half of the matches, including the elimination final and the final, will be broadcast on Sky Sport.
The women’s domestic schedule and remainder of the men’s domestic schedule will be released next week.
