The six golfers who represented Otago and finished second in the New Zealand interprovincial tournament in Hamilton earlier this month dominate the senior order of merit list for 2014.

Brent McEwan (St Clair), who played at No3 in the successful Otago team, heads the list with 377.5 points, ahead of Queenstown's James Anstiss on 313.8 points.

The list continues with Brandon Hodgson third, Nick Borren fourth, Duncan Croudis fifth and Mark Brooks sixth.

A purse of $2000 is split between the top five. It is kept by Golf Otago and the amateur players can use it for coaching, travel or equipment in 2015.

Cromwell prodigy Inia Logan (16) is in ninth place on the senior list with 92.7 points but he is a clear winner on the Greg Turner Tour junior order of merit with an impressive 208.4 points.

He is ahead of Anstiss and Otago schoolboy champion Conor Jamison (Chisholm Park) in the junior rankings.

The top 12 on the junior list get to play in a finals weekend at The Hills and Millbrook, but 13th-placed Ryan Shuttleworth (Wanaka) will be included as Anstiss will be off to the United States in January to take up his golf scholarship.
