Like golf?
Fancy a couple of days on two of the most spectacular courses in the world?
This could be the job for you.
New Zealand Open organisers are hoping to enlist 500 volunteers for the championship and accompanying pro-am at The Hills and Millbrook in February-March.
''Tournaments like this can't survive without volunteers,'' New Zealand Open chairman John Hart said yesterday.
''I'm determined to make the volunteer experience special. We're going to look after them and make it fun.''
Hart said the volunteers would be the special guests at the Saturday night concert during the tournament.
Potential volunteers, for two-day or four-day roles, could sign up at the tournament website (www.nzopen.co.nz), he said.
