Captain Sam Thaiday, the Queensland forward, is making a comeback from shoulder surgery and will enter the NRL pre-season game as an interchange.
Star recruit Scott Prince will also start on the bench as he prepares for life with his new team after transferring from the Gold Coast Titans.
A third impact player on the bench is one-cap State of Origin utility David Stagg, who has rejoined the Broncos after a spell at the Bulldogs.
Experienced centre Justin Hodges, Kiwis fullback Josh Hoffman and the exciting halves combination of Corey Norman and Peter Wallace feature in the Broncos' starting backline.
Another New Zealander, Alex Glenn, starts in the forwards along with the ageless Corey Parker, rising prop Josh McGuire and Queensland wrecking ball Ben Hannant.
Meanwhile, the Warriors have confirmed an extensive programme of activities while they are in Dunedin.
They arrive at Dunedin Airport at 1.10pm today, and have appearances planned at Canterbury of New Zealand (4.30pm), The Baa Sports Bar (6pm) and Starters (7pm).
The Warriors train at Carisbrook at 11am tomorrow, and have players visiting schools and Dunedin Hospital. Coach Matthew Elliott and some players will attend the Super 15 rugby game between the Highlanders and the Chiefs tomorrow night.
On Saturday, the Warriors are at Rebel Sport (9.30am) and DTR (11am), and at the community carnival at the University Oval (12.30pm-1.15pm), before the game kicks off at 7.30pm.
