The sides were named yesterday for the round three clash, the first full NRL game to be played in Dunedin.
The Warriors, who have beaten Newcastle and lost to the Storm so far this season, will field a team including veteran Warriors winger Manu Vatuvei and durable loose forward Simon Mannering.
Mannering (30), the team's former captain, will make his 261st career appearance to draw level with Stacey Jones for the most games for the club.
Vatuvei (31), the club's try-scoring record-holder, was yesterday named to make his first NRL appearance of the season and the 226th of his career after turning out in the lower grades in the first two rounds this year as he works his way back to full fitness.
With Mannering on the cusp of the mark for most appearances, it means two of Jones' records are set to bettered in the space of two weeks.
Halfback Shaun Johnson topped Jones' all-time points-scoring record of 674 with his 56th career try against Melbourne last week.
Warriors coach Stephen Kearney said it was a wonderful achievement of Mannering to rack up so many games.
``You could count on half a hand the number of games he hasn't been up to his usual level,'' Kearney said.
``Manu has played really well in his two games ... after missing the trials and he'll provide us with the valuable experience we need.''
As well as Vatuvei, front-rower Jacob Lillyman has been brought into the run-on side as has seasoned second-rower Bodene Thompson after both came off the bench in the opening two games.
Vatuvei, Lillyman and Thompson provide an injection of more than 470 NRL games among them.
The selection reunites the Warriors' regular starting back-row combination since 2015 - Mannering, Thompson and Ryan Hoffman.
As expected, Kieran Foran is not selected. The Warriors have named an extended bench which will be trimmed to four closer to Friday.
The Bulldogs have lost Will Hopoate to injury but have still named a strong side.
The side has lost to the Storm and the Roosters so far this season and will be keen to grab a win in what is a home game. Its attack has struggled of late although weather has played a part in its two games so far.
The Bulldogs were forced to look for an alternative venue after their home ground in Sydney was booked out for a Justin Bieber concert this week.
