'Crowd Goes Wild' heads to Radio Sport

Sports fans can now feast themselves on The Crowd Goes Wild for both breakfast and dinner, with the popular television show taking their antics to Radio Sport.

Mark Richardson and Andrew Mulligan have combined their irreverent humour with serious sporting knowledge since 2006, a partnership that hit the airwaves on Monday.

Fans have been kept up to speed with the latest on all things sport from across the globe and country, with Mulligan joining Richardson in the breakfast timeslot he has occupied since last year.

"Obviously we are very excited to now have The Crowd Goes Wild radio breakfast show," Mulligan said. "As well as our trademark wit, good cheer and a healthy dose of sarcasm, we do actually know what we're talking about and, after all, Mark is no good by himself."

The former test cricketer might dispute that, though their partnership has seen The Crowd Goes Wild named the country's best television sports show for the last three years.

"This is serious stuff," Richardson said. "We are going to be making sure Kiwis are heading off to work secure in the knowledge that if there is something sporty they need to know, then they'll know about it."
