Otago stalwart Megan Gibbons has been appointed to the Athletics New Zealand board.
Gibbons, who is the pro-vice-chancellor of health sciences at the University of Otago, is a former athlete who competed at the Oceania championships and has since coached and supported athletes at regional, national and international level.
She is a life member of both Athletics Taieri, where she serves as president, and Athletics Otago, and also served as a national selector. — Allied Media
