Prince Abbey good prospect

Ryal Bush pacer Prince Abbey looks well placed for victory at Wyndham today.

The 3yr-old was just nosed out by Diego at Ascot Park a week ago for trainer-driver Peter Hunter. In his only other start, he ran a close third in a handy field at Winton.

Mosgiel mare Pres The Belle, who starts in race 6, the feature trot, will be on trial for premier events at Addington.

The Darryn Simpson-trained 5yr-old ran third in the feature trot at Gore on December 27 in her last start.

Simpson said Pres The Belle took good improvement from that run. If she does well today, he will consider lining her up at Addington in the coming weeks.

Pres The Belle clashes with classy types Smokey Mac, Superfast Pat and War Admiral today.
