The injury-prone Jim Curtin was ruled out of driving at Addington last night after he struck his foot on a fence post.
"A young one I was driving galloped and I hit my foot on a post. I have had it X-rayed and there is nothing broken," Curtin said.
Curtin returned to race driving at the Timaru meeting three weeks ago and landed a winner after four months out of action with a foot fracture.
He has had several other injuries.
Reinsman Zac Butcher ended the season with 115 wins, three clear of his father, David, after driving Jonny Wilkinson to win at Alexandra Park last night.
Ricky May took his tally for the season to 100, driving Dakota Grace and Ultimate Player to wins at Addington.
Norah Bishop, the Waikouaiti junior driver, has been suspended for six months after testing positive to cannabis.
Bishop (27) tested positive in urine testing of 17 drivers at the Forbury Park Trotting Club meeting on June 21.
She was suspended on June 28 when the positive was confirmed.
She faced a charge from the Racing Integrity Unit at a hearing before representatives of the Judicial Control Authority in Dunedin on Thursday.
Bishop, who is employed by trainer Bruce Negus, has been a junior driver since March.
