The Rolleston couple introduced the very fast Alleluia to Forbury Park earlier this month as he sprinted away with the colts and geldings' series heat.
But they went one better with Willow and Secret's Out in the fillies' heat on Sunday, preparing the quinella as Willow took the honours after a nice trip in behind her stablemate.
The Bettor's Delight filly gained an education as well as the $11,160 winning stake for Melbourne owner Bill Feiss.
Willow's first two runs were in the lower grades in Southland, and Rasmussen, who drove the filly on Sunday, said her sheer class meant she often ended up in front by default.
''She's probably been a bit forced to lead.
''She's got such good gate speed and racing in the sort of company she has been, it's just been ideal to lead with her, so it was good for her to sit in behind today.''
Secret's Out led the field for most of the 1700m and was game in defeat, as was Venus Serena who faced the stiff breeze outside the leader for most of the race.
Willow may need to sharpen up slightly before the final at Alexandra Park in Auckland on December 31, as Rasmussen said the filly was prone to knocking off in front.
''She's a bit of a bludger, so she just got past the others and then was sort of waiting for them a little bit.
''We hope to give her a few days off. She's had a few trips away so a few days off to freshen her up would be good.''
Rasmussen has plenty of respect for yesterday's third placegetter, Venus Serena, as the 3yr-old filly division works itself out.
''Venus Serena is the benchmark at the moment and it's a bit hard to tell - this one's still up and coming, but we do like her.''
