Rivalry renewed

Oamaru trotter Monty Python (right) and rival Destiny Jones (centre) will go head-to-head in tomorrow’s Banks Peninsula Trotting Cup.Destiny Jones edged out Monty Python in a nail-biting finish to last year’s event. 

Monty Python, who scored three wins during his Australian campaign earlier this year, will be attempting to win his first race in New Zealand since March 2017.

Last year’s quinella-makers will clash with favoured runners Habibi Inta and Winterfell in the 2810m event.
