Rugby: Patston in North Otago squad

Southern first five­-eighths Ben Patston has been added to the North Otago squad after second five­-eighths Jovesa Kunawave was sidelined with a pectoral muscle injury suffered in Saturday's game against Wairarapa­ Bush.

Patston played 20 first­-class games for North Otago in 2010 and 2011, scoring 192 points in those two seasons.

He joins Southern halfback Robbie Smith, who is a state of origin player for North Otago having played his rugby at St Kevin's College.
