The All Black took part in Leukaemia & Blood Cancer NZ's Shave for a Cure initiative at Hamilton's The Base, along with several other Chiefs' players.
He earlier said he would shave it all off if he did not raise $2000 for cancer.
"Help me out tweeps need to raise 2k to save me hair do trust me u dont wanna see me with a number 1.''
The All Black then lured his fans to donate by promising to follow them on Twitter if they gave more than $10.
"Please let me know if u have donated #honestycall just followed my first donor :)''
But after raising the required money, the rugby star agreed to go under the razor anyway.
Shave for a Cure is Leukaemia & Blood Cancer New Zealand's biggest fundraising event.
