The concert, titled ‘‘Encore’’, will feature songs performed by Cantores Choir earlier this month in the Jonathan Lemalu-led Dunedin Voices concert, along with pieces from the choir’s back catalogue.
Among the songs to be performed in the concert, to be held from 7pm tonight in the Dunedin Railway Station foyer, will be Victorian song Long Day Closes, hymn Ubi Caritas, Kelly Lange’s Esto Les Digo, and hymn God Mounts His Throne, plus a few surprises.
The performance will be conducted by Cantores Choir musical director Greg Peyroux.
Gold coin koha entry, with all proceeds going to the Breast Cancer Foundation.
Cantores Choir is affiliated to the Otago University Students Association, and its members are typically either current or previous Otago University students.
Cantores travels all around the South Island, particularly Wanaka, Queenstown, Invercargill and Christchurch, and has also made trips to Australia.
