Fire crews were called to extinguish a car fire in Mornington this afternoon.

Fire and Emergency New Zealand (Fenz) shift supervisor Brent Dunn said a crew from Dunedin Central Station were extinguishing the small car fire in Eglington Rd at 1.10pm using a hose reel.
