One person has since died following a two-vehicle crash in Canterbury earlier this month. 

The crash happened on the corner of Kirk Rd and West Coast Rd in Templeton, and was reported at 4.40pm on Sunday, July 19.

Two people were injured, one critically.

In a statement this morning, police said the critically injured person died of their injuries on Tuesday, July 21.

The death has been referred to the Coroner.

Inquiries into the circumstance into the crash are continuing.
