After a five-year hiatus, Pacific Heights returns with the release of album In A Quiet Storm and a tour starting at Queenstown's Subculture on Friday.
Pacific Heights is the solo project of Devin Abrams, synth and sax player in seminal Christchurch drum and bass outfit Shapeshifter and a frequent tourer of Australia and New Zealand as DJ Reno.
In A Quiet Storm boasts some of Aotearoa's favourite vocalists - Joe Dukie, Pdigsss, Ladi6 and Lisa Tomlins, and introduces the new vocal talents of Christchurch's Mara TK, jdubs, Aeries, Mark Vanilau and Sacha Vee.
"In A Quiet Storm has been three years in the making," Abrams said.
"I can't wait to tour it throughout New Zealand with my great friends, who feature on the album. It's going to be a very special show."
The Queenstown gig will feature DJ Reno, Pdigsss from Shapeshifter, K Lab from Black Planet and Lisa Tomlins from Rhombus.
The super-group goes on to play Dunedin, Christchurch, Auckland and Wellington.
