US pop star Pink has been so affected by the horrific images of the Victorian bushfires that she will donate a quarter of a million dollars to help the victims.
The Grammy-winning singer, who regularly visits Australia, said she had been shocked by news of the fatal fires.
Pink - who is returning to Australia for a 46-show national tour in May, June, July and August - said she would donate $A250,000 ($NZ318,552) to the Victorian Bushfire Appeal Fund.
Closer to home, Aussie rock legend Jimmy Barnes will also do his bit for those affected by the bushfires.
He will donate all the proceeds from sales of his new live album, Jimmy Barnes Live At The Enmore, to the appeal, in an agreement with his label Liberation Music, publishers Mushroom Music & EMI Music Publishing and Apple.
