Former Otago Rebel netballer and the franchise's most capped player, Debbie White, has signed to play with the Northern Mystics this year. Sarah Harvey blows the whistle on her wardrobe.

How would you describe your style?
Hard to describe your own style, but I guess I would say modern and clean cut.

Has it evolved over the years?
Definitely. My style has become heaps more girly with more skirts and dresses.

Describe your wardrobe?
A mixture of jeans, dresses and sports clothing.

Whose style do you like or look up to? I think Kate Moss is great, I love how she does her own thing fashion-wise but always looks fantastic.

Who are your current favourite designers? Ricochet, Aduki, and Ruby (all New Zealand designers).

What is your favourite item of clothing?
My True Religion jeans.

Shoes - brown ankle boots.

Accessory - a hand-crafted ring.

What was the last item of clothing you bought?
A summer dress (still to be worn, where is the sun?)

What has been your best fashion bargain?
My brown ankle boots.

I got them in Sydney on a netball trip and love them.

What has been your biggest fashion mistake?
Getting my hair permed at high school.

A fashion tip?
Don't dress for other people. Wear what makes you feel good. Dress for fun.

A beauty tip? Sunscreen

What would you buy if money was not an object?
Some Jimmy Choos.
