The Belleknowes Golf Club's new clubhouse is well on its way.

It is a replacement for the original club house that was destroyed in a fire in June 2021.

The 9-hole section of the club has organised an innovative fundraiser - a sponsored "String" golf tournament for Sunday 26 March.

Each player is given a measured length of string and they use it strategically to reduce the number of shots they record for their round.

Tournament organiser Phyll Esplin says that there are still a few places left in the draw.
