wo new scholarships have been presented to horticulture students at Otago Polytechnic's Central Otago campus.
The scholarships, which are worth $500 each, have been given to Kate Barnett and David McGann by the SBS Bank.
Bank senior agribusiness manager Anne Ashby-Neilson said the new partnership with the Central Otago campus was an excellent opportunity to support those who were committed to furthering their education.
"It is these people who will potentially become the future leaders of the industry, " Ms Ashby-Neilson said.
