He said the former brewery site with its vast crop of daffodils was "absolutely unique" in New Zealand.
The three-day convention was hosted by the Dunedin Horticultural Society, Otago Daffodil Club and National Daffodil Society of New Zealand.
It drew about 100 growers and enthusiasts from throughout New Zealand, as well as from Australia, Scotland, Ireland and the United States.
