The blog, started last year, won a national Interface magazine class competition, much to the delight of the pupils, who report on school events on a regular basis.
Teacher Clemency Wright said the blog was simply "things that happen to us", such as the school installing a new long jump pit and a pupil finding a bird's nest.
So far, it had attracted 12,000 hits, including from Qatar and England.
It was especially popular with grandparents, who liked to keep up to date with what was happening at the school.
Pupils took turns at being reporters, photographers and announcers for the blog, which was integrated into the class programme, Mrs Wright said.
Principal Greg Carroll appreciated how it linked home and school and allowed the children to share, connect and network with the community.
"It breaks down the walls of the classroom," he said.
The class won an external hard-drive and a notebook computer.
