New Zealand Book Awards for Children and Young Adults best picture book finalist Vasanti Unka, of Auckland, talks about her book Who Stole the Rainbow? with primary school pupils at the Books Alive event at the Dunedin Public Library yesterday.
The event featured a selection of the finalists for the 2019 awards reading their books to primary and secondary school pupils throughout the day.
Authors James T. Guthrie, Barbara Else, David Elliot, Rachel Craw and Eileen Merriman were others to take part. The award winners will be announced in Wellington next week.
