There were minor traffic delays on Highcliff Rd, in Dunedin, this morning after a car crashed into a roadside barrier.
A police spokeswoman said the incident happened about 8.30am.
Only one person was in the vehicle and received minor injuries. An ambulance was called but then stood down.
Members of the public directed traffic around the accident scene until police arrived.
The road is now clear.
