Collision sends car down bank

Two people were uninjured after their car collided with another in Corrie St, Dunedin Central, before plunging down a bank.

A witness at the scene said firefighters secured the teetering car to an appliance until the tow truck arrived.

They then helped the occupants up to the footpath.

A police spokesman said emergency services were called at 11.40pm yesterday.
