Crash in North Dunedin

Police and a St John ambulance attended a minor crash at the intersection of Gt King and Duke Sts in North Dunedin this afternoon.

Snr Sgt Ian Temple, of Dunedin, said it was a non-injury crash and a decision would be made as to whether charges would be laid once all parties had been spoken to.

Witnesses at the scene believed one vehicle ran a red light causing the crash about 3.30pm.

A black SsangYong utility vehicle and a blue Mazda hatchback collided, the car ending up in in bushes near Giltech Precision Castings.

The utility vehicle blocked the left lane heading north but the road remained open.
