The Mosgiel-Taieri Community Board has repeated to the Dunedin City Council the need for a five-minute parking restriction on a space in Factory Rd near the public toilet.
At a meeting in May, the board recommended the council consider installing a P5 park in Factory Rd, after a regular user of the public toilet, at the pocket park in Mosgiel, had difficulty finding a park to access the facility.
At the meeting last week, members asked council transport and engineer road safety team leader Hjarne Poulsen why the restriction on the car park had not progressed.
Mr Poulsen said he would investigate and report back to the board.
