Performance review undertaken

The outcome of a closed door meeting to review Dunedin City Council chief executive Sue Bidrose’s performance was kept confidential yesterday.

The chief executive appraisal and appointment committee, made up of Mayor Dave Cull and Crs David Benson-Pope, Jinty MacTavish, Andrew Noone, Chris Staynes, Richard Thomson and Kate Wilson, met yesterday morning to discuss Dr Bidrose’s performance and salary.

The  subjects to be discussed in the non-public meeting were the "[chief executive] performance review process and setting [chief executive] objectives" and another titled "remuneration discussion".

A council spokesman said the outcome of the appraisal remained confidential as it was yet to be considered by the full council.
