The Ra Bar in central Dunedin has announced tonight it is "closing forever" after 18 years.
"After 18 memorable years here at Ra Bar we are closing our doors for the very last time this weekend!" the Octagon bar announced on its Facebook page about 6pm.
The post said this weekend was the last opportunity to say goodbye to this "iconic part of Dunedin's night life" in the Octagon.
