Extravaganza Fair stall holders Koco Berg (left) and Summer Tye hold their dog Daria at Bayfield Park on Saturday.
The Extravaganza Fair is travelling through 32 towns and cities all over New Zealand with lots of entertainment including circus shows, live music and plenty of games.
There were about 30 different stalls ranging from clothes to food.
Event organiser Mels Berg said people were always surprised at how much fun they had at the fair.
"They just want to pop in for a quick look and, we always hear this, they end up staying for four or five hours."
She said a great thing about the fair was it was really affordable because it was free for children to enter and only a gold coin donation for adults.
The fair will run until tomorrow.
