Queen’s High School pupils Chloe Wood (left) and Amberly Orr (both 16) use virtual reality equipment to take part in Niwa’s Dive Deep experience at Otago Museum yesterday.

The museum, in collaboration with the Dodd-Walls Centre for Photonic and Quantum Technologies, yesterday hosted a series of workshops to mark the International Day of Women and Girls in Science.

The workshops continue today and are aimed at intermediate and secondary school pupils and educators.
