Inshore fishing trawlers lay moored at the Otakou wharf on the Otago Peninsula yesterday as Trawler Fishing’s Kane Matheson worked to shift fresh fish.

Boxes filled with lemon sole were loaded on to a truck from the fishing trawler Tamahine,which cruised into Otago Harbour early yesterday morning after spending a night at sea.

The Trawler Fishing team is classed in the essential worker category and had been working through the alert levels to "feed the country", one worker said.
