Hoedown Showdown goes down in Mosgiel

Operatunity country musicians (from left) keyboard player Grant Winterburn, string bassist Hank Trenton, guitarist Matt Pike and fiddler Marian Burns perform in Hoedown Showdown at the Mosgiel Coronation Hall yesterday. The band have been touring the South Island with the toe-tapping tunes of country stars, including John Denver, Dolly Parton, Patsy Cline, Johnny Cash and Willie Nelson.
