Hospital’s festive fare

Dunedin Hospital food service manager Kostya Cherkun (left) and food service associate Nele Tili hold some of the meal types that will be offered by the Compass Group to hospital patients for Christmas lunch tomorrow.

Patients will choose ham with cranberry sauce, or roast chicken with gravy. The vegetarian option is spinach and feta wraps.

For dessert, there is plum pudding, chocolate mint mousse, or fruit. Meals on wheels recipients received their Christmas meal yesterday. They had a choice of roast lamb or vegetarian loaf, followed by plum pudding.
