Police officers from the Invercargill Traffic Alcohol Group were breath-testing drivers in Taieri Rd last night as part of a pre-Christmas drink-driving campaign in Dunedin.

Sergeant Craig Cox, of Invercargill, said the group was working alongside the Alexandra Traffic Alcohol Group and the Dunedin Strategic Traffic Unit, and had processed eight drunk drivers at various checkpoints around the city last night and Wednesday night.
