He aims to perform around the city over the coming months to raise funds for a trip to the home of Shakespeare, the Globe Theatre in London.
He is one of 24 young actors chosen from across New Zealand to perform at the Globe, after a performance at the Shakespeare Globe Centre NZ University of Otago Sheilah Winn Shakespeare Festival in Wellington last year.
He hopes to raise about $9000 before travelling to London in July.
