The Otago Museum is pressing ahead with further staff exchanges, after hosting its first overseas museum staff member through an exchange programme.
Delphi Fang, who heads the communication and collaboration section at the Shanghai Science and Technology Museum in China, will leave the Otago Museum next week after spending three months in Dunedin.
Museum officials said this was the Otago Museum's first exchange of staff with an overseas museum.
Ms Fang had taken part in many activities, including helping with the large-scale "refreshment" of the Otago Museum's popular Animal Attic gallery, which reopened to the public yesterday. An Otago Museum staff member was likely to travel to the Shanghai museum later this year for a return exchange.
