Motorists are being reminded not to leave valuables in their vehicles following two vehicle break-ins this week.
Entry was gained into a car parked inside a garage on Hunt St, Andersons Bay, on Monday night.
Senior Sergeant Mark Crawford, of Dunedin, said cash was stolen.
Meanwhile, a quarter light window was smashed to gain entry to a vehicle on Trafalgar St on Tuesday morning.
A wallet was taken, he said.
