Three people were injured, one critically, after a vehicle rolled on Dunedin’s southern motorway overnight.
Police said the single-vehicle crash occurred near Mornington Rd and was reported just after 1.10am. They later later confirmed the vehicle had rolled.
A Hato Hone St John spokeswoman said they treated three people, two of whom were taken to Dunedin Hospital, one in a critical condition and the other with minor injuries.
A third person was treated at the scene for moderate injuries.
An ambulance, first response unit, rapid response unit and a manager were all sent to the scene, the spokeswoman said.
Police said inquiries would continue.
The northbound lanes of the motorway were closed for several hours but reopened shortly before 9am.
