Dunedin Symphony Orchestra member Lydia Ford plays the French Horn for pupils at St Mary's School in Dunedin yesterday.

Six members of the orchestra gave pupils a taste of what their instruments sounded like and how they were played. It is part of a two-week-long tour of primary schools around the Otago region, which aims to encourage young people to learn a musical instrument.
