Donations totalling over $56,000 were distributed by the Otago Community Trust at its March meeting.
Grants to 13 organisations were approved, with the largest grant of $15,000 going to the Dunedin-based Otago Sports Car Club.
Other recipients were:
- Dunedin: Brockville Community Church $4650, Cystic Fibrosis Otago $2000, Dunedin Senior Chinese Association $1500, Grants Braes Association Football Club $1000, Simply Families Trust $8000, Tertiary Dance Festival Aotearoa Trust $3000, The Brain Injury Association (Otago) $2000, Enviroschools Foundation $1500.
- Balclutha: South Otago Victim Support Group $5000.
- Oamaru: Oamaru Multisport Club $600.
- Wanaka: Bike Wanaka $9000, Makarora Valley Community Incorporated $3000.
