Six60 back to where it all began

Six60 returned home for the last concert of the band’s national tour, at Dunedin’s Forsyth Barr Stadium on the weekend.

About 20,000 people attended the show, which was opened by the supporting acts Ocean Alley, Mitch James, SACHI and Niko Walters.

Concert promoter Eccles Entertainment said it had been "an amazing night from start to finish".

Nationwide, the tour had sold about 135,000 tickets.

The present tenants of 660 Castle St, the student flat where the band formed, had a pleasant surprise on Saturday as they were paid a visit by Six60.

The band posted a photo of the house on Instagram with the caption "Dunners, it is good to be home."
