The popular Campus Wonderful cafe and dairy in Union St, Dunedin, has been demolished this week to make way for a three-storey commercial and residential building in the heart of Dunedin's student precinct.
Owners Lynley and Lucien Verkerk, of Verkerk Stores Ltd, are building two apartments on the middle and upper levels, each with three bedrooms above a new-look Campus Wonderful and Fluid Espresso.
The project was due to be completed early next year, architect Gary Todd said.
