The 31st Otago Polyfest continued at the Edgar Centre yesterday.

The day was jam-packed with more than 35 schools performing consecutively every 12 minutes.

The vibrant showcase of Māori and Pasifika culture began on Monday and continues until Friday with 160 performances scheduled throughout the week from 128 different Otago education institutes.

Macandrew Bay Playcentre will begin events today at 9am and Logan Park High School will close with the last performance of the night at 8.48pm.

Photographer Gerard O'Brien caught the young performers’ moves.
