A 22-year-old man will appear in the Dunedin District Court after a vehicle window was smashed with a wheel brace in South Dunedin yesterday.
During a confrontation in Andersons Bay Rd, a man allegedly smashed a car window by throwing the brace just before 7am.
A car carrying four Dunedin men left the area and hit a kerb in Forbury Rd, near Macandrew Rd, then crashing into a wall.
After the crash, police were called and two men, the 40-year-old driver and a 20-year-old passenger, were arrested and charged with disorderly behaviour. They were released with pre-charge warnings.
A 22-year-old man arrested was released with no further action taken.Another 22-year-old man was charged with possession of an offensive weapon and wilful damage and will appear in court on Tuesday.
