This is Gold Well done Hawkins, Cull and Benson-pope and those others on Council who are for stuffing around with the Car parks in Dunedin along with other things, Time to have some Mana Councillors and put Hawkins in his place Dunedin's people don't want this rubbish, the people voted you in to do a job and I only see one or two with Mana and one is Cr Lee Vandervis. Too Car Parks has to be a contributing factor if not the main factor. Lets' hope those in Dunedin who get to vote remember what a shambles you are making of Dunedin.

We know you are rabidly anti council, but how can you possibly blame the DCC for NZ Post not emptying a mail box?
There is nothing in the story suggesting they couldn't park a vehicle there to do their job. NZ Post have not blamed this on the DCC so why should you?

Not anti council at all just the dumb decisions they are making and have made and don't stand up to be accountable. I've seen so called leaders make decisions but never listen or don't care how it will affect others. I view things differently because I can, every action has a reaction, council removed carparks - supply and demand, workers are on a time line to pick up mail to get things done if you can't get a park then I guess they will move on and get it tomorrow, obviously tomorrow never arrived. Do you think the council think about these poor courier drivers, delivery drivers and how such decisions delayl them getting home to loved ones.

Oh wait a minute Mr. Postman.....

How is it the DCC's fault if NZ Post fail to do their job??

Didn't you know, everything is the fault of the DCC, including Covid-19. If only they hadn't restricted car access to the Octagon we wouldn't be in this mess.

Ha, apparently my lost birthday card is (or was) in there. Mystery solved.
